Location of Kumaraswamy tank: This tank is situated to the west of Thadagam road and to the south of Thondamuthur–Coimbatore road.

Inlet and Outlet : The surplus water from the Krishnampathy tank reaches Selvampathy and the outlet of Selvampathy is connected to Kumarasamy tank. It receives sewage water through two sewage inlets.
